Davis Erection was founded in 1978 by Sherry and Jeff Davis performing structural steel erection and rebar installation.  From the onset, their foremost goal was to provide unmatched customer service and the highest quality of work with knowledgeable, experienced craftsmen at a competitive cost. Jeff Davis has stated, “Our success has been consistently hiring quality people, providing them the best tools, equipment and training, and allowing them the opportunity to perform.”  This basic philosophy is still adhered to toady.

Crane service was recognized as an opportunity for growth in 1982.  It allowed for the purchase of a wide variety of equipment, enhanced existing erection services and fostered continued project relations for hoisting needs in existing markets.  The pursuit sparked continued growth and acquisition of business in competing markets.

Jeff and Sherry were succeeded by Larry Keith and Jeff Green in 2001.  Their vast industry knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit continued to grow the business.  Davis Erection and subsidiaries spread throughout the Midwest offering erection, rebar, heavy rigging, and crane sales, service and rental opportunities to a growing base of clients.

The business refocused and concentrated on its founding market and principal business model in 2015 under the leadership of Mike Dail and Warren Griffen.  We became an employee-owned company by crafting a business model that centered around our people, empowered them to pursue and achieve, and provided a path of succession for future generations. 

The Omaha, Lincoln and surrounding markets continue to provide great opportunities for this company.  Our partnership with local labor organizations has aided us in providing a competitive workforce that continues to allow us to be successful.

Davis Erection continues today under its fourth generation of leadership.  The philosophy remains: provide tools, resources and training to capable people and empower them to be successful.
